The editorial board and the team of the Fux edition mourn the death of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Johann Trummer, who died in Graz on 18 July 2019. Johann Trummer has been committed to Fux and the Fux Edition for many years with enthusiasm and energy.
The currently intensified work on several volumes of the Fux Edition is only possible thanks to the generous support of the Katholischer Medien Verein Privatstiftung, whose chairman was Trummer.
In his memory, the Fux team in Vienna will continue the editorial work to ensure that Fux's music will be brought to life.
